Blue Sand Capital is a boutique placement agent focused on raising capital for alternative fund managers.

Blue Sand Securities LLC has successfully raised over $15 billion for alternative investment managers over the past 25 years. The firm’s roots are in hedge fund capital formation and have expanded to include private credit, venture capital, private equity, and specialty lenders. The process is a collaborative approach to refine the messaging, differentiate the strategy, and efficiently leverage the manager’s marketing commitment.

Capital raising is success-only. There are no upfront or retainer fees. Blue Sand earns a percentage of the fees generated on assets it raises. New manager deal flow comes from existing and former clients, referrals, service providers, capital introduction groups, and existing investors.

For investors, Blue Sand has spent 25+ years establishing deep relationships with sophisticated institutional investors including private banks, family offices, endowments, foundations, pension funds, consultants, insurance companies, investment advisors, and funds of funds. Pre-qualifying investors makes marketing meetings productive for managers and introduces relevant opportunities to allocators.
